Or whatever you all do to remember!
Dec 5 is the prospective release date for my next title, Entangled, a short story prequel to the Cursed Magic Series. Hooray! I know how hard it's been to get any sort of release date out of me lately. Still don't know when the third will be out. (See previous blog post.)
Hope everyone has a Happy Thanksgiving!
~Casey
Is it today that the book is to be realised? I didn't find it. Please enlighten me..
ReplyDeleteHello! Yes, but there is a little bit of a delay. It takes a few hours at least for it to show up on Amazon, and at least a week or two for it to show up on Apple and some other sites. Sorry for any confusion!
ReplyDeleteThanks,
~Casey
Oh my~~ I found it on Amazon... so nice!!! Thank you Casey :3
ReplyDeleteI have just finished this book. Good as ever. Thanks for your work. :3 I am looking forward to more to come. Wish you a happy Christmas here in advance.
ReplyDeleteThanks Kim! And a merry Christmas to you too!

Hi! I loved your books and recommended them to my friends! I just have one question though...What language is the phrase "mon laini" from? Or is it made up? Thanks!!
ReplyDeleteHello!
DeleteThank you so much! Here is your answer:
• mon lainĂ- my lady in elvish
It's made up. I should probably post an index on here somewhere now that I think about it. Haha.
Thanks again for reading!

Is there going to be more story about the events of Claire's engagement and what transpires in the seaside town where Farron just rescued Lianna?
DeleteKerry
Hello Kerry,
DeleteI don't know at the moment. I could consider it once I am done with the third book if it seems that people are interested.
Thanks for reading!
~Casey

ReplyDeleteNo, you're fine! Sorry it took so long for me to get back to you. I don't know when it is going to come out. I'm hoping for at least by the end of the year, though. Sorry I can't be more exact! I guess I can write up a plot summary! I usually wait until the last minute to do those, but I can do it now I think, haha. At least a short one for now I suppose!

Hi, I finally decided to write a comment too. Usually I'm not writing that much in the internet. So, I (from Germany) just loved your books and hope to read more. I'm still trying to write my own book but now I got like 4 not finished books - May I ask how you're able to finish yours? Is there an advice you could give on how you can finish a book? For me it's most of the time that I have a new idea for a new book or I'm not in the right mood for the scene or ...
ReplyDeleteI just hope I didn't bother you too much. Keep up your excellent work!
Thank you so much, Kelly! It's no problem at all! I am naturally a bit of a completest, so it sort of bothers me to leave anything unfinished, so I guess that's the thing that helps me the most. Are you sure you are not just suffering from writers block? I know I do and it takes a little bit to get over that and work through it. Take a break from your story and come back to it with fresh eyes. Or are you genuinely just losing interest in your work? For me I find it is more the first, and when I find a way to overcome a roadblock, my interest in the story is reignited. If you have new ideas for stories, like most writers tend to do, write them down so you don't forget and set them aside for later while you finish up what you're currently working on. And as for mood, music always helps me set the tone. I have a few different playlists for different kinds of scenes. That's the quickest and best way for me. Or you can go back and reread the scene beforehand to help.
DeleteAnyways, I hope that helps! Those are just some of the things that work for me, but try different things and see what works best for you!
Thanks for reading and good luck in your writing!
~Casey
Thank you! It's probably writers block. I didn't really thought about that. Now I will try to finish the story where I wrote the most and then move to the next.
DeleteMusic is a good idea, I also use music to change mood, usually from sad or angry to happy but I'm going to try it the other way around (I never considered that way). At some point in one story I also use earplugs (the main character had an accident and goes deaf). Thank you again.

ReplyDeleteHaha, no worries! As for advice, I'm pretty new at this too. I guess I'd just say keep on writing and get your work out there and in front of eyes, listen to feedback, get a good editor... hmm, that's all I can think of at the moment. Still learning myself!
